THE $1 million artificial reef to be built off Ocean Reef Marina is one step closer with today’s release of the tender for design, construction and installation.
The project aims to create good recreational fishing and diving opportunities without people having to travel long distances.
It will be built 7km west of Ocean Reef Marina after consultation through Recfishwest, making it easily accessible from the Hillarys, Ocean Reef and Mindarie marinas.
